Which embroidery position suits a logo, name or text?
Every product has its own embroidery areas for each view — front, back, left and right. Which ones and how large they are depends on the product; the Real View Customizer always shows you the actual area while you design.

Embroidery tip: The largest possible area is not automatically the best size. Legibility and proportion are what matter. In our experience a classic chest logo already looks balanced at about 70 to 100 mm wide, elongated company logos at about 100 to 130 mm depending on the design. There is a hard lower limit only for lettering: letters under 5 mm high can no longer be rendered cleanly in thread — so the Real View Customizer does not allow them.

Which details and text lengths fit on the bunny’s tummy?
The embroidery position on the tummy is limited to 130 × 130 mm and is approximately round. This provides more usable width through the centre than at the top and bottom. Five lines of equal length would not use the shape effectively.
Up to five lines of text are possible. As a practical guide, the wider middle lines can contain up to around 16 characters per line. The top and bottom lines should usually remain at up to around 10 characters. The font, capital letters, spaces and wide letters all affect the actual amount of room required.

Our recommendation: Place the name or logo through the wider centre. Small motifs such as a heart, star, baby footprints, crown, carrot or Easter egg work especially well at the top and bottom because they follow the round shape.
Every name needs its own layout check
The number of characters is only a guide. A name containing several wide capital letters requires more space than a line of numbers of the same length. Long two part names can be reduced in size or arranged over two lines.
Before production, we check the font size, line spacing, alignment and motif proportions. The screen preview is a guide. The final embroidery file is adjusted to the actual tummy area.

How to keep the design meaningful later
Consider which information should still matter in a few years. The name nearly always deserves to remain the main element. A date, year and carefully chosen motif can support it. Several fonts and too many colours rarely make a design feel more personal.

An image must become a machine readable embroidery file
An image file contains colours and outlines, but it does not contain instructions for stitch type, direction, sequence or underlay. We therefore check the logo and create a professional embroidery file where required.
Very small lettering, thin lines and fine colour gradients may need to be simplified or enlarged. The completed logo embroidery file remains stored in your customer account and can be used again for future orders.
For larger orders: The shared base design can remain the same while each bunny receives a different name, number or short message. The exact quantity price depends on the order size, motif and number of different personalisations.
Why is the Zippie bunny suitable for professional embroidery?
The zip is located on the underside of the bunny. The inner cushion can be removed through this opening, providing direct access to the back of the tummy panel. The plush outer cover can therefore be prepared for the machine without the stuffing inside.
Plush needs topping and suitable stabilisation
The soft fibres can partly cover small letters and fine outlines. A water soluble topping holds the pile down during embroidery. A suitable stabiliser underneath supports the tummy panel.
The outer cover must not be stretched during hooping. Otherwise, the area can contract after release and the motif may appear wavy. Whether tear away or cut away backing is used depends on the stitch count, motif size and proportion of filled areas.
Size 40 polyester thread
Isacord 40 or Madeira Polyneon 40 are suitable for clear colour and embroidery on a product that will be handled regularly.
Adjust fill stitches carefully
A spacing of approximately 0.40 to 0.45 mm is a useful starting point for many motifs and is adjusted to the individual design.
Keep small lettering readable
For many fonts, practical testing begins at approximately 5 to 6 mm letter height. Letter shape and internal spaces remain decisive.
Test the needle and tension
Depending on the motif, needles in sizes 75/11 or 80/12 are often used. Thread tension is adjusted during a test stitch.
The difference lies in the stitch construction: Good digitising plans the underlay, stitch direction and sequence so the name remains readable, outlines close and the tummy keeps its shape.
Which thread colours suit the white or cream white bunny?
Dark and medium shades provide the most reliable contrast on the pale tummy. Black, dark brown, burgundy, navy and forest green remain clear. Gold, dusty pink, pale blue and sage green create a softer effect but still need enough contrast against the background.
Two or three coordinating colours are usually enough for birth details. The name can carry the strongest colour, while dates and numbers remain calmer. Multicoloured motifs work best as one compact element rather than being spread across every line of text.
