I had a really good experience getting my name printed on my chef jacket. The work was done very quickly and the quality is excellent. He speaks English, which made communication easy, and he was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The stitching came out clean and professional, exactly how I wanted it. Overall, a very skilled and reliable person—I would definitely recommend him.

Frequently asked
Questions about custom embroidered Trousers & Shorts
Can I have a single piece embroidered?
Yes. At Stickerei.com you can have items embroidered individually from a single piece — for a one-off gift as well as for small teams, clubs, companies and large orders.
Can I have my own logo embroidered?
Yes. Upload your company logo, your club logo or your own design and place it on the chosen textile. Before production we check it for embroiderability, legibility and the chosen embroidery area.
What can I have embroidered on a textile?
Company logos, club logos, names, initials, job titles, departments, lettering and your own designs. Different names within one order are possible too — each item then gets its own lettering.
Which files can I upload?
You can upload SVG, EPS, AI, PSD, PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP, up to 8 MB per file. We prefer vector files because they scale without loss of quality. This graphic is the basis for the preview and the check; an embroidery program for the machine is then made from it.
Do I need a finished embroidery file?
No. A decent graphic of your logo is enough. We turn it into an embroidery file — the digitising — ready in 24 hours. The embroidery file costs €50.00, each additional size of the same logo €35.00. Embroidering it onto an item is added per item and depends on the stitch count of the finished file. All amounts incl. 20 % VAT. You already have an embroidery file? Then send it to us in advance by e-mail or via the contact form — we look at it before you use it for an order.
In which formats do I get my embroidery file?
We supply around twenty common machine formats, including DST (Tajima), PES (Brother, Babylock, Deco), JEF (Janome, Elna, Kenmore), HUS (Husqvarna, Viking), EXP (Melco), XXX (Singer), TAP (Happy), DSB (Barudan) and KSM (Pfaff). You choose the format when downloading.
Where can a textile be embroidered?
On tops the usual areas are left chest, right chest, centre chest, back and the left and right sleeve. Other products have their own areas. You can see which embroidery areas a product offers in the Real View Customizer — they depend on the item.
How large should a company logo on the chest be?
In our experience a classic chest logo already looks balanced at about 70 to 100 mm wide; elongated company logos need more like 100 to 130 mm, depending on the design. These are values from experience, not fixed limits — what is possible on your textile depends on the product's embroidery area.
How small can lettering be embroidered?
Letters need to be at least 5 mm high. Below that they lose their shape because of the thread thickness, so the Real View Customizer does not allow smaller lettering. There is no fixed upper limit — the product's embroidery area sets it.
Can every detail of my logo be embroidered?
Not every one. Very fine lines, narrow gaps and soft gradients have to be adapted for embroidery. That is exactly why a specialist looks at every design before it goes into production.
Is embroidery more durable than printing?
With embroidery the thread sits in the fabric rather than on it — good for company logos, workwear and club wear. For very large areas or photo-like images, a printing method can be the better choice.
How long will my order take?
The embroidery file made from your logo is ready in 24 hours. How long production and shipping take after that depends on the order — the binding information is on the page "Shipping method and delivery time".
Embroidery know-how
Why your design is checked before production
An uploaded graphic is not yet a production-ready embroidery file. For a logo to be embroidered cleanly, areas, outlines and lettering have to be translated into suitable stitch types, stitch directions and stitch sequences.
A properly made embroidery file
Design and textile are assessed together
Running, satin and fill stitches to suit the design
Stitch density to suit material and design size
Check of small lettering and fine details
Optimised stitch direction, underlay and overlaps
Very small lettering, fine lines, narrow gaps, gradients or very detailed logos need an expert assessment. The thickness and stretch of the textile also affect how the design is executed. We embroider letters from 5 mm high — below that, lettering is no longer legible.
The aim is not to produce as many stitches as possible. What matters is a clean result, good legibility, suitable stabilisation and a design that works on the chosen textile for a long time.
If our check shows that your design will not come out cleanly or that printing would be the better choice, we get in touch — before production, not afterwards. We tell you before we embroider.
